Hello, Reader
What if the thing you’ve been trying to fix… isn’t actually broken?
I had a thought come up about this — especially around how we’re always trying to push ourselves to be consistent, productive, “on.”
And how exhausting that actually feels.
It made me think about things like human design — the idea that we all have different ways of moving through energy… different rhythms… different ways our bodies naturally want to work.
And yet, most of us are trying to override that.
We push when we’re tired.
We question ourselves when we slow down.
We assume something must be wrong if we don’t have constant energy or clarity.
But what if nothing is wrong?
What if you’re not broken…
you’re just working against your own natural rhythm?
I’ve been noticing this in myself — the moments where I try to force something instead of listening.
And every time I do that, it creates tension.
Not because I’m doing something “wrong”…
but because I’m not actually working with myself.
And when I shift — even just a little — and allow things to move at the pace they need to…
there’s more ease.
Less pressure.
Less resistance.
Maybe it’s not about fixing yourself.
Maybe it’s about learning how to work with your own energy.
If you want to explore this a little deeper, try this:
Take a few minutes today and ask yourself:
Where am I forcing something right now?
And then gently follow it with:
What would it look like to work with myself instead?
No pressure to change anything.
Just notice what comes up.
Just something to move with this week.
Work with yourself, not against yourself,
